How it works: each clip is decoded by the browser and redrawn frame by frame onto a canvas with trimming, cropping, rotation, filters, and text already applied; MediaRecorder re-encodes everything straight from the canvas stream, in the order clips appear on the timeline. Drag a clip onto another (or use the ‹ › arrows) to reorder the timeline. Enable "smooth transition" to insert a short fade between clips instead of a hard cut. Existing text overlays can be edited (use the "edit" button in the list). Background music plays over the original audio (which can be muted with the 🔇 mute button) and loops to cover the total duration. Filter, rotation, speed, and audio settings apply to all clips; text overlay applies only to the first clip. Reverse is not available because it would require heavy frame-by-frame reprocessing in the browser.
